Tricia has worked as an Occupational Therapist for 20 years and specialises in working with children with sensory processing differences, regulatory differences, developmental coordination differences, learning, behavioral, neurological disorders and autistic children.
Tricia enjoys supporting parents with disabilities or who are neurodivergent on their parenting journey. Tricia can also support parents to develop their parenting skills in line with their families needs particularly around sibling relationships and change within the family. Tricia is passionate about supporting children to understand themselves and to be understood by others including their family, peers and teachers so that they can achieve their full potential and live and learn in a way that is meaningful to them. Tricia is trained in and embraces the DIR®/Floortime Model of treatment developed by Stanley Greenspan, MD and Serena Wieder, PhD with emphasis on understanding the impact of the child’s sensory processing and postural control on their capacity to relate, communicate and learn.
